Ages 2-4At this age, a book is something to point at, name and hold close. When the child on the page is your child, every reading turns into a little moment of recognition.

How to choose a personalised book by age
Each world has its own age range
We write for children from 2 to 12. For the youngest: the little chef (2-4), the magic forest and the land of sweets (2-5). From four: dinosaurs and safari (4-7). From five: space and pirates (5-8). Older readers: the castle of dreams (6-10), superhero for a day (7-10) and the invention factory (8-12).
What changes with age
Little ones get short scenes and big illustrations to point at; you read to them. From five, the story has more words and they start reading it themselves. Older readers get adventures with bigger choices. At every age they are the hero, with their name on the cover and a portrait that looks like them.
